WHO ARE THOSE GUYS?

YOU GET TO MEET LOTS OF PEOPLE AT A TEACHING HOSPITAL:

THE SURGEON, A RESIDENT, AN RN, THE NURSE PRACTITIONER, A TALL GUY, TWO GUYS IN THE DOORWAY, AND A MEDICAL STUDENT.

i'm happy to contribute to their education, but this particular group was so big, it reminded me of the classic clown car routine. i thought a very big person might enter next, and last, a little person.

When my husband was originally diagnosed with FAP, he went to St Marks, the leading teaching hospital for bowel-related matters. He ended up in a tiny room, about 10 foot x 12 foot with him on the couch, his consultant, me, a nurse and about 6 students. Boy was it packed!
